Engagement Session Locations
Eaton Canyon in Altadena is one my favorite places. for a number of reasons. It is beautiful there but you do have to some walking. The natural light there is great which is really great because security does not allow the use of external lighting.
Griffith Park offers tons of options ranging from the trails, to travel town and also the Old Zoo. The one place at Griffith Park I do not recommend is the Observatory. There is always a crowd there and they have strict rules on using external lighting.
The Arcadia Arboretum is my most favorite place. People that choose to get an engagement session here I will often extend their time by a little bit because it is so huge here and I love it that much. You do need to pay for entrance fees and a $50 permit fee. I suggest a shoot of 2 hours or longer if you want to have your engagement session done here.
Downtown is always a great spot for great photographs. Many locations in Downtown Los Angeles ask for a permit which vary in cost.
San Juan Capistrano is probably a top location for photo shoots. It is often asked for because of just how beautiful it is. There is an extra charge of $200 for having an engagement here and there is a permit fee but it is worth it.
Venice Beach is a great location to get these shots next to the water. You can make it an extra long engagement shoot and have some shots here and at the beach itself. There is an extra charge p $75.00 fee for this location.
