The Details
I love photographing the bride and groom details. So much so that the very first thing I do, after saying 'hello' to everyone in the room, is ask you about everything you want photographed. This usually involves -- but is not limited to -- the shoes, jewelry, flowers, two copies of the invitations and the save the date card and of course your bridal outfit. If there is anything else that holds significance for you please let me know because the more I capture, the more memorable the pictures will be. I take a ton of photographs of everything you might have for me. While I take about 20 to 30 minutes getting all of these shots, you, the bride, will be busy getting your hair and make up done.
Groom Preparation
Often the groom doesn’t request "getting ready" shots for himself. I think these photographs are important. Although it's chivalrous to allow me to devote most of the time to your wife to be, it's your big day too. You're looking good and feeling good. If the schedule permits, I would highly encourage the groom to have some great getting ready pictures taken as well, including shots of any details that are important. Don't worry fellas, I typically don’t spend as much time here as I do with the bride. Give me 15 to 20 minutes and I will capture many great images. During this time of the day, the bride is getting close to having her hair and make up completed...
Bridal Preparation (Make Up)
While I was photographing the groom the make up artist was putting the finishing touches on the bride. By this time the make up should be close to being done. Once the makeup is perfect, I will snap some shots and capture some really great images.
Fun Shots!
Before you put on your dress but after your make up has been completed we have the chance to take some fun shots with your bridal party. Champagne, party poppers, anything you want can be used to get some fun and some posed shots.
Bridal Preparation (Getting Ready)
Now it's time for me to step out of the room while you put on your bridal outfit. Once you're looking fantastic in your beautiful wedding garb, we can ask someone special to you to help with the finishing touches.
Bridal Portraits
Congratulations! You are all done with your hair and make up. Your outfit is perfect and now I’ll take some photos of you by some nice window light before we are off to your ceremony! Yay!
