The Reception

The Details

You put a lot of hard work into all the details no matter how small. I’ll be sure to capture it all. The reception is where you separate the good photographers from the amazing one. Photography is all about light. When there is plenty of day light “Natural Light Photographers” can get a great image. What about when there is no lighting or bad lighting? How do their photographs look then? I set up lighting all around your venue and use it to enhance the location not to take over. The reception is my favorite part of the day. I get to use my off camera flash photography in a way to get the most texture and dimension out of all the images. Seriously check out my weddings and the reception photographs and then go and check out another photographers page.

Dances

For those of you that hire a band or a mariachi, be assured it will also be captured. You don’t really want a hundred photographs of the people that played amazing music at your wedding but you do want some. Your first dance on the other hand will be captured with tons and tons of great images. Nothing the lighting. Notice how it hits the people from a side and it creates this beautiful image. I will never use flash directly from my camera. I use an assistant to create this depth to the images.

Natural Light

Natural light is so easy. Way, way easier than artificial light. I don’t have to adjust the flash power on multiple flashes set up all around the venue to get the image to be great with natural light. With natural light photographs, I move here, move there and over there and take photos, snap, snap, snap away without regard to flash power, zoom extension on my flash and without an assistant to direct. The photographs are beautiful but it will get dark at some point. Is your photographer able to take natural light photos and use flash correctly? We here at Luna Bella Photo absolutely love flash and even use it at times to enhance natural light photographs.

High Speed Flash

We use a type of flash that is so strong that it i’s able to keep up with all of the images I take. Did you know most cameras can take up to 12 or more photos per second? Most flashes that photographers use can’t keep up with that. Ours can and we won’t miss anything in those precious fraction of seconds.

Speech Lighting

Check out the beautiful lighting on these speech givers. So much more interesting than a straight flash hitting them from dead on I think.

Great Lighting No Matter What

No matter how fast the action moves, no matter how dark the venue is or how crowded it is. I will find a way to put not one or two but three or four flashes all around and turn them off and on as needed to get the shot I want.

I will also work with you and your coordinator to make sure the schedule runs smoothly and is perfectly ironed out to have a great flow to the entire night
