I love it when I have a nice table and daylight to work with when it comes to detail shots but what I love the most is when groom is right in the same hotel. This adorable kid was shy at first but he warmed up to me and let me take these really cool snaps of him getting all ready for his parent's big wedding.
First looks are awesome especially when time constraints are a big factor. Normally I like to do first looks outdoors with natural light but that's not always an option. Here we had a first look in the very same hotel where she got ready and look how happy they are to see each other,
Right before the ceremony starts I like to take photos of some the guests anxiously waiting for the ceremony to start. When the action starts though we are sure to get great photos of everyone walking down the aisle. The Castaways is an amazing place to have a wedding. Their gazeebo area is really nice and fits so many guests. Sometimes the lighting can get hard since the sun sets behind the gazeebo but that sun set looks really great if you are able to catch it for photos.
Look at how happy everyone looks. The bride looks gorgeous!
Our favorite part about capturing these ceremony photos are the emotions on the bride and grooms face. They are so happy for this day to finally come. We got lucky for the most part in that the sun was not blinding everyone. I managed to find the angles that would look the best with the darkest backgrounds. I love how the photos turned out!
I think these photos here really show you just how big the ceremony are is and the beautiful view you and your guests will have.
I love the first kiss shots. There is no way I would ever miss those.
The very first thing I do is get into the reception area, set up my lights and take the detail shots. Even if people are already sitting down there has to be a table or two that are free. Oh and doesn't that cake look amazing!
I HAD to get the shots of donuts!
I love every single venue space at the Castaways Restaurant. They are so big and it allows for people to move around freely. I am able to move so far back and still be able to get up close with my lenses.
Look at all that emotion on their faces. These are probably my favorite shots to take the entire day. I don't have to pose or coax anyone to smile for these photographs.
And here comes the bouquet and garter toss. Everyone loves this part.
I hope you enjoyed seeing these photos at the Castaway Restaurant. If you are thinking about having your wedding here, I highly recommend it. Your ceremony area and reception are all in one location which is great for your guests plus the place is amazing.
